Meet our 2025 committee members
Steve oversees the club’s overall direction and strategy, leading the committee and ensuring smooth operations. He promotes the club at various levels and endeavors to have the girls and volunteers’ best interests at heart.
Nikki is the heartbeat of the club, she lives and breathes Warrington Girls from making sure all registrations go through in the correct way, managing everyday admin tasks like a pro and making sure every team and set of volunteers has everything they need to be successful. Warrington girls would not be half the club it is without Nikki at the helm!
Making sure all subs payments and fundraising are allocated to the correct team, and allowing us to function as a club comes down to the careful management of the club’s finances. We are a not-for-profit so all money that comes into the club goes towards things like training facilities, match officials, matchday food, presentation evenings, and equipment to name nut a few. This is all managed carefully by our Treasurer.
Promotes a safe and positive environment for all members, addressing any welfare concerns and implementing safeguarding policies.
Fay coordinates the registration process for our girls’ rugby league club, including both player and volunteer registrations. She also oversees the completion of volunteer DBS checks and training.
Sarah ensures the club is adequately prepared for medical emergencies, organising first aid training and maintaining necessary equipment. She has been a vital part of the committee this season making sure every team has what they need and that all accidents are logged correctly and efficiently.
Gemma has been a vital part of our committee for the past two seasons, managing all our communications and social media. She tirelessly promotes our girls, sharing everything from matchday lineups to exciting off-field events.
Jane spends her time identifying and securing funding opportunities to support the club’s activities and development. She works with members of the fundraising team to come up with activities and events for the girls to get involved in to either raise vital funds for the club or for the community around them.
Becci is key for all our matches to run like clockwork. She organises and coordinates the whole club’s match schedules, ensuring timely communication with opposing teams and officials. Making sure that when we have a home match Crosfileds know all the details and everyone knows where they need to be and when!
